Dayna Jagdeo attended Bangkok Patana for two years and is an alum of the Graduating Class of 2015. She has been in school helping our Year 7 French students develop their language skills. Here Dayna tells us a little bit more about her time back in the classroom at Bangkok Patana School:

“Throughout my time at Bangkok Patana I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the ECAs school had to offer. In Year 13 I used to volunteer with mentoring Year 7 students. Working with the Year 7's helped me to feel accomplished and confident throughout the two difficult years of IB and as a result I decided to come back and do some more volunteering!

Over the past week we've been practicing how to have conversations in French. The Year 7's have done amazingly well at answering simple questions such as "what is your name?" to answering more complex questions such as "what do you enjoy doing on your holidays?"

I couldn't be more proud of each student, all of which leave our conversations smiling and feeling a little bit more comfortable speaking French. I hope they have had as much fun as I have!”

Many thanks to Dayna for coming back to help the students, it really is wonderful to have such dedicated alums. If you too would like to visit us, please get in touch at
